if it's just a veggie pizza, how fast does it spoil if not refridgerated?

i remember in college we used to leave it out overnight and eat it the next morning. somehow we managed not to get sick.

anyhow i am in another situation where i can't store pizza leftovers (don't ask it's a long story), and i want to get pizza.

if i leave it out over night and am i in for living in the bathroom tomorrow?

It'll depend on a lot of conditions (primarily: humidity, temperature, and how mold-ridden your place is), but pizza's generally okay overnight.

That said, being able to buy by the slice is a wonderful thing when you don't have cold storage.

If your place isn't too hot and humid inside, I'd say eat away. I do it all the time!

Bah. The longest I left pizza out was for a week. Oh sure, I could almost shave with it after a while, but it was still safe for human consumption.

Note: This was a Little Caesar's brand pizza. Pizza! Pizza!

I'd wager that a veggie pizza, at room temperature in a typically clean abode would be safely edible even 48hrs on. I wouldn't eat it myself, but I'd encourage a more daring friend to do so.

Also, if you have eaten much day old pizza in the past it is possible you are used to the colonies of microbes that like to live in room temperature previously melted mozzarella.

I always put the remainder of my pizza in a zip lock and put it in the fridge when I am done eating it and it is still warm. You know..
So it doesn't taste like shit.

Well, when I play The Sims and I cook a meal it lasts only a few hours, but if I order a pizza it lasts a whole day.

But don't take EA's word for it. wink

I always just buy the cheap-ass microwave and stick it on a crumby ikea stand.
It always catches on fire and my sims die. frown

This is why I don't play the sims any more blackeyed

Twiglet strikes again with his super amazing awesomeness! Yeah, when you live without health benefits AND like a scoundrel, your body and mind tend to adjust. I've eaten day old everything I think, at least once. Take some acidopholous every now and again, and here I am--

I've been called a Scoundrel before. I liked it, made me feel well loved. Scallywag is also a great term.
