This is the Newswire. It is different than just random boards postings.
Well I've tried submitting stuff to Newswire before.....
At least with the boards you KNOW it's going to get onto the site and get onto it imediately.
As for "random"...I'm not sure if you are trying to put down the boards or just the coverage of this story.
I posted it before it went up onto the Newswire and I found the myspace page in question (It wasn't listed online anywhere, but I found it by searching for text revealed in the article).
