My cat Minerva loves the sink. If you turn the water on, she comes running (and tries to jump in). She must have been a tiger in a previous life.
reminds me of a cat i used to have. jess would jump into the bathtub after someone got out and start licking up the water. we started just leaving the facet dripping because she wouldnt drink out of her bowl anymore.
when my dog was younger, she'd randomly stand in the bathtub. i'd wonder where she went and hear noises in the bathroom, and she'd just be standing there. i don't think she can get into the tub anymore since we remodeled the bathroom - the edge of the tub is taller now. we're pretty sure she did it so she could reach the soap. she likes to eat it.
the other night she was chasing her tail and catching it, then she'd just keep on spinning. then she'd flail around and bite my mom's bed. if i'm playing on the ps2 she'll shove her head under my arm so i can't play. she'll plow into my room and rest her head on my keyboard so i can't type. she'll also lean on people, kind of like how cats rub against your legs. only she's pretty big, so the person she's leaning against sometimes falls over.
she's weird about her food, too. sometimes she'll eat it all within three minutes, barely chewing, and sometimes she'll take one tiny piece of food at a time, carry it to the hallway and eat that one piece. if she's started eating and then notices that someone is about to pour gravy or something on the food in her dish, she'll spit the food in her mouth everywhere.
lately her favorite thing to do is get into the "play" position with her butt in the air, but lay her face on the floor and scoot around.
our older dog is just a total baby and neurotic about his family. he likes to herd us around - when my mom gets home late from work he waits for her to go upstairs and just follows her around until she gets into bed. usually he can't sleep well until everyone is where he thinks they're supposed to be. he'll lie down in front of the door to make sure no one leaves in the middle of the day.
i need to take pictures of them, they are such adorable morons. my dog is absolutely gorgeous; you wouldn't believe she could be such an idiot.
i had a cat named moses ('cause we found him by a river) that actually liked to take a bath. he would lay back, and close his eyes when we had to dunk him. and he would jump in the shower with whoever was in there if they left the bathroom door open.
my cat has the most unique personality I have ever seen in a cat.
he will only drink out of a cup. he has a special disneyland plastic mug that he drinks out of, but he doesn't just lick up the water. he shoves his whole chin in the water and chews on the opposite side of the mug. recently he learned to pull the mug closer to himself buy sticking his paw through the handle.
I tried getting him one of those "le bistro" automatic waterers, with the jug of water turned upsidedown over the bowl...he would NOT stop obsessing about the water in the jug. he would just sit there all day long and play with it, trying to get the water and the bubbles out of the jug.
he wants to eat whatever I am eating, like a dog. he he often actually eats it. he likes fruits and veggies.
whenever he gets bitey, I give him his "baby" which is this stuffed animal cat that he's had since he was a kitten. he will grab it and start wrestling with it immediately. sometimes he will grab it in his mouth and drag it around the house.
he knows how to open most doors, including the kitchen cabinets
this is kinda gross, but around the time I started bringing dates home, he began to have a fetish for really soft fluffy things. he will start kneading them for a while and then he will start kind of "air humping" above them.
Since the weekend, it's gotten alot warmer out. So I've started to sleep on my back with my arms over my head so I'm a bit sprawled (instead of on my stomach with my arms under the pillow or by my side). My cat likes to sleep with me, but lately he's started licking my armpits. I tell ya, I'm not fond of it.
