I am enjoying my Folgers coffee that i just made in my coffeepot.

Folgers is so indie cool. It's like Pabst Blue Coffee.

No. It was just on sale. whatever

Wait. I can deal with Folger's if I'mo ata shop or am out of my own stock, but does this mean people actually LIKE Pabst? I've noticed pics of SGs and members with it but thought maybe it was all that was available or on a really good sale or something. I mean, it's i stores so people must buy it, but I never saw anyone actually drinking it. Only had it once, in State College, PA, watching my friends' band, Trick Bag, play at some bar there and asking for a Labatt's Blue and gettng a PBR instead.

I threw up. Of course, it may have just been a long period of self-abuse catching up with me, but since then I've never had another.

Folger's is okay, though, for want of fresh roasted and ground coffee.

I think Pabst is really good for the price. Yeah, I'd rather have something better, but if I don't want to spend a lot of money, Pabst is the first thing I am going to look for. Better than High life, way better than coors. Infinitely better than Bud.

On the cheap coffee side, I'm a chock full 'o nuts man.

That's what I'm wondering about.

First off, Starbucks did not invent coffee, so stop using their trite little lingo. In fact, I'm not sure what they serve is even coffee. Tall, Grande, and Vente... 'caramel macchiatto'

/end angry barista rant

hey coffee shop guy,
let me get this straight,
i'm not allowed to use words like vente and grande and macciatto,
but I have to call you a "barista"?

I dunno if this has been said or not, but macchiatto is different from a latte. It has something to do with the order in which you put the milk in. I'm not condoning it, but it's not a Starbucks convention.

No it fucking doesn't. A macchiatto is espresso that has been stained with milk. 'swhat it means: stain.

Hating on starbucks is fine, but there's an entire country that has been making coffee all proper-like for a while now. That's where the terminology comes from.

That "heathcare" is only in Scotland though, right?

Psh, they just stole it from the Turks who got it from the Ethiopians. Ethiopian coffee is the good shit. Anything else is just mud.
