ATTN ALL COFFEESHOP PATRONS

First off, Starbucks did not invent coffee, so stop using their trite little lingo. In fact, I'm not sure what they serve is even coffee. Tall, Grande, and Vente [sic] mean basically the same thing. Stop coming into independent coffeeshops like mine and using those words. We have small (12 oz.), medium (16 oz.) and large (20 oz.) like the rest of the world. Also, please stop saying 'frappacino' [sic] and 'caramel macchiatto' [sic]. Those are really called latte/mocha smoothies and caramel lattes.

Also, it's not 'expresso,' it's 'espresso.'

but this rant comes as a result of a most ignorant customer I had today, and most independent coffeeshop baristas will tell you that Starbucks ahs ruined people's perception of coffee and related drinks

i would stipulate that pre Starbucks, most people din't have a perception of coffee and related drinks.

Also, I would stipulate that Starbucks is the best thing to happen to the coffee and coffee shop industry in forever.

I would stipulate that Starbucks coffee tastes like what I can only imagine used motor oil tastes like. Not to mention for the cost of a cup of Starbucks I can get several from 7-Eleven or Dunkin' Donuts which won't make me want to vomit.
