on an average day...

it's tuesday. doesn't get more average than this.

the premise of this thread: bookmark it if you post in it, then check it in a year or so to see if you're still a loser. when i say loser, i assume that you're like me.

on an average day... i wake up around 11:30am, grab a cup of coffee, then take the dog out for a potty. the next two or three hours are spent doing email and checking ebay auctions. i brush my teeth around 3pm. shower? meh. eat something around 5pm. check the want-ads. then maybe go for an espresso type beverage. take a nap. work on thesis until 3 or 4am. so... anyone hiring?

i don't even check the want-ads.

i usually go for a potty, have a snack, take a nap, have a potty, eat some dinner, play, have a nap, have a potty, play, have a potty, have a treat, then go to bed.

yeah... you're supposed to tell us about an average day... in a little more detail. ya know? then bookmark it... and check back in a year or so to... never mind...

because it's basically the same, minus the want-ads. and sub the thesis with playing guitar.... ok?

i totally forgot about playing guitar.

i guess this is a below-average day.

Apart from checking emails/ebay/forums, I have walked the dog, and washed some clothes. OH THE EXCITEMENT.

man this is such a good idea, yet when i look back in a year it will be such a bad idea...

I wake up anytime between 1:30 and 4:00 in the afternoon. I lie in bed on the couch cuddling with my cat for an hour or so after I wake up. Check email and SG, but most likely don't respond to new email or my friends' journals. Watch cartoons or shows I recorded the night before. Play with cat. Try to go back to sleep due to boredom and apathy. Think about all the things I should be doing while lying there. Eat my one meal a day around 8:00 or 9:00 in the evening. Watch TV until 11:30pm. Talk on the phone until 5:00am if I'm feeling sociable, if not, then I'll just stay on the internet or watch TV all night. Go to sleep for "the night" between 6:00 and 8:00 in the morning.

Each week I take the early morning plane, I work from seven to nine and then on friday I take another one home again, to find no one waiting for me.

Wake up around 9am. go to work till 12 - 2pm, depending on what i have to make. get food. come home, and play world of warcraft till around 3 or 4am. go to sleep, and start over.

Oh, whatever. That should have been "Leaving On A Jet Plane." That's what I immediately thought of, anyway.

Oh wow. I may regret this, but here goes. I wake up sometime just before or just after noon, and stare at the ceiling for ten minutes or so, unless my girlfriend comes and wakes me up (usually around the same time or a little earlier). I grab something to eat (usually Ramen unless she brings me something else). I grab a shower and then watch some tv or get on the computer to check the myspace/SG/e-mail and maybe play a video game or something. I eat lunch and perhaps take in a movie. I fuck around a little on the guitar, and then my brother/roommate's friends come over and I might socialize with them for a bit. I eat dinner, and hang with my girlfriend. If I'm good, I get some nookie. Then I'm back to my place with a high likelyhood of getting back on the computer unless (god forbid) I decide on an evening on the town. I turn in around 3 or 4 am and repeat.

I think if it weren't for my girlfriend my life would be devoid of meaning. I probably ought to hit up those want ads...

get up check sg, go to see if any of m,y close friends here have updated...... chat on msn and yahoo messanger.. check e-mail... watch tnt for most of the day... let cats out at 2 pm.... get dinner going at 5 curl up at 7 watch csi then what ever showes are on on the appropreate days read a book till about 2 am.... play pogo till 4 am then sleep... thats aboput it.....

i wake up. eat something. prep the day's files. get in car and go do 4 appointments usually from 10-2 or so. get home. waste an hour surfing internet and avoiding working on files. settle into a groove with files and watch sporting events or south park or cops reruns or animal planet while i pound out work file which takes from about 5-10 or 8 or midnight. shower and whatever. waste another hour surfing net and watching sportscenter. field several calls from my friend who feels a need to call me every day like he was my girlfriend or something. stare at calenders endlessly deciding which fantasy trips will become reality(domestic) and which are far fetched (international). pas out by 2am. repeat.
