Dita Is truely an insipration to most women in the gothic scence now days. She has been mine for a really long time. Ive always been into the 50s style of pin up and the moemnt I saw her it was instant love.

The day I found out about her and Mister Manson, I cried... litterally! Two of my most inspirational people joining was totally awsome.. and heart breaking.. I knew I would never get my chance at ither of them!!! ;D

But in all seriousness folks, Ive seen the woman live when she comes through the DFW area and she is even more breath taking in person. I want to take time and thank Suicide Girls for bringing one of the better interveis with her to me!

I agree. And I even gave her a script once at this particular show she did in San Francisco in 2002. I'm still embarrassed by that, because technically it was a first draft that was NO WAY ready to be shown to people. But she was in town and I took a chance anyway (even though nothng came of it). Like I said in the other Dita thread, she's very "down to Earth" friendly.

Funny sidebar (to me, at least): I was asked to work on that movie Manson did and the guy I spoke with struck me as totally non-credible. How anyone in the industry fell for their scam amazes me, but a lot of smart people did. I guess they just let their guard down with me or something, or maybe the dude I talked to was green.

I am more and more impressed with her the more I learn about her. What an amazing woman.

I find it funny that she said, re: JT Leroy's book, "Why make up more ugliness in the world when there’s so much already?” ...and she's married to Marilyn Manson. Heck, Marilyn's made a career out of making ugliness, D! Where would Marilyn, or indeed most of our fave artists, directors, and musicians, be, without some manufactured ugliness to reflect personal visions/ dreams/ hopes/ fears of the world?
