CELEB: Jack White Welcomes Baby Girl

Jack White and wife Karen Elson welcomed a baby girl, Scarlett Teresa Gillis (White’s legal last name), Tuesday morning in Tennessee. The couple’s name choices are said to be in honor of Gone With the Wind heroine Scarlett O’Hara and The White Stripes color themes. Teresa is also the name of White’s mother.

The couple had married last June in a canoe in Brazil with White’s bandmate and ex-wife serving as maid of honor. They had previously worked together in the band’s “Blue Orchid” video.

Jesus, Jack, when you start naming your kids according to your weird obsession with a certain color scheme, it's moved well beyond "cute" and is heading towards "bonkers"

I'm sure it has more to do with Miss O'Hara, and the color scheme was a cute little PR tweak.

Hell, Scarlett is a better name than Apple... if you're sticking with the color scheme.

I am just glad he didn't have a baby with his drummer sister. There is a wierd sexual tension there.
