CELEB: Johnny Depp is One Pissed Off Pirate

Johnny Depp has filed suit against West Hollywood, Los Angeles, for allowing the zoning of a $10 million Sunset Boulevard retail complex. The Pirates of the Caribbean star claims that the complex would mar the view from his $5.4 million Hollywood Hills estate and also notes that his children will be affected by this blockage while they are playing on an outside terrace.

Depp's suit alleges that the city is in violation of local environmental-quality laws and is an appeal from an original ruling a year ago against him in Los Angeles Superior Court. It is being filed on the actor’s behalf by his sister, Christi Dembrowski. The development’s backers are prepared to fight the claim further as construction has already been halted for a year.

So, um, Johnny, what happened to all that France talk?

I presume he has enough money to have houses in both countries. Probably depends where he is working at the time, i figure he takes his kids with him. they are still young enough for that i think.
