Noone forces you to watch the shit. The reason it is on is because your fellow Americans watch it in great abundance. People stop watching = no ratings = no advertiser dollars = no Anna Nicole = some other superficial show exploiting some other weakness we all have for distraction and dissasociation from reality. If we don't all attend to the education of our minds, bodies, emotions, and souls, and to our planet and fellow man, create new ways of recreation and community, while starving the hands who feed us these atrocities, then we can look forward to many more Anna Nicoles and Buffies and American Idols. I'm with you man, get to work, and focus your anger where it is needed. And if you can, try to educate your friends, and come up with new forms of recreation that are truly helpful to your and our colelctive growth.
So... your advice is to put the blame where it truly belongs? The mindless masses that watch and support such corruption of American society? I don't like them either It's just all that advertising they do for the shit to make you watch it. I'm with you for most of that.
But... what isn't smart about Buffy (I'm assuming you talking of the vampire slayer)? It wasn't reality TV, it was well written and a bright spot in the barren wastes that is American broadcasting.
Meh, I was just going on a rant. Every now and then us kiddies do that?. As far as what's wrong with Buffy? I don't know, I just make assumptions, I have never watched it, so you have more experience with that one.
