I always had more than enough work of my own to do; let alone taking on someone else's.
That was my experience.
Ethics aside, you're doing the other students a disservice by denying them the education they need.
oh yes, they need it, but have they ever tried to obtain it? i do this for al the rich kids who coast through life knowing they get daddy's business as soon as they're done grade 12.

i don't cheat myself though. i don't believe i've ever cheated in class.... if i did, i would be distraught becuase i would know i didn't deserve the grade.
i do work for others, work that in the end, will not help them pass a class.
and i wish i intentionally did bad, and am not actually just a bad student. my average right now is like, 78 or something :s. i wish i had an excuse....
oh, and silly, my dad gives me stuff 'casue i'm his daughter. that a darn good reason I believe.

Somehow during my freshman year of college I managed to convince one of my professors that it would be to everyone's benefit if I was allowed to complete a certain group project all on my own. I was spared the worry of lazy people, half-wits, and coordinating my busy schedule with others.
It was an easy A. But if I'd worked with one of the other groups, I'm sure we would have scored only a B or C, unless I decided to take the whole group over.
I hate group work.
Yeah, it would suit me if I never had to work with other people ever again, but it's a necessary evil now and it will be after Uni too.

When I was a Juinior in High School I finished a final in ridiculous time, with what I knew was an A+. I was not allowed to leave early, so I reached over and grabbed the test of a kid near me, he would have failed without me making sure he got at least a C. I did it because I owed his older brother for something earlier in the year. His brother stopped me from beating some other kid up, and kept me from getting suspended. I felt I needed to do something for him, so I got his little brother through English class.
Hah, I had a final like that my senior year in high school. I don't have a good story about owing a dude anything, but I brought a sleeping bag and pillow and took an hour long nap after I finished.
throughout college, i surrounded myself with intelligent people. hence, i never had to worry about this. looking back, i wish i'd hung out with idiots.
If you had/have to do the work yourself and nobody did it for you, why the fuck should someone else get off scott-free?!??!!
My little brother who's still in highschool is a good example of this.
Before he fucks off to bed, he gets a project "mostly" done, and then leaves me a memo saying "Type this up for me, make it better, research and add some more, and proof-read it twice, print it out, please!" ...You would not believe how many times he wakes up angry and pissed off and screaming, left with nothing but a note that says "No dice".
Hahahaha! And for some dumb reason he keeps on trying!
