I have heard that the Spanish military doesn't use Alsatian dogs because they only an IQ of 60, and the army has a limit of 70 for it's members. Now, this is clearly so silly that it can't be true, but this article gives me hope that it's not just a story.

I believe that cockroaches and rats are considered plagues and not as intelligent as others species, but that doesn't mean I spend my days misstreating them. The point of my post is that I've seen very fucked up things in the news done to animals and since there isn't a good legislation on it the agressors always get away with it. I think the equal rights thing is retarded, but it would be great if we had good laws against animal abuse like it happens in other European countries.
I love Spain a lot, but I agree that Spain needs to tighten up its animal abuse laws
I was a little appalled by the number of dead dogs and cats scattered along the Cadiz-Conil road (E-5?). I actually saw a couple stop and release a dog by the road side, which was a little fucked up.
