Who Likes Boxing?

Boxing is awesome. One of the few sports that's still been around since the ancient Greeks and is still kicking.

I think I'll be watching David Haye vs (Goliath)Nikolay Valuev this Saturday!

From a standpoint of actual participation, I've only ever been a member of a local boxing club. So, I can't compare there.

In terms of fans, I tend to have more in common with boxing fans since MMA seems to have taken the overenthusiastic goons out of it. Mostly old men like boxing nowadays, and they seem to be more sedate about it.

In terms of watching either, I favour boxing because, honestly:

oh boxing! pacquiao vs. mayweather! i know who i want to win, but i don't know its going to end

well, I like boxing, but I like the full contact sports more.
