Prize?! Now you tell me.
I can alternately flex my pec muscles to make them bounce. I bet she can't do that!
Do you care about battery life or performance? Personally, I rarely have 4 hour + sessions without being plugged in. So, I have an Athlon 64 laptop, and don't need a desktop for anything that I do anymore. (I program)
Now, if you found yourself constantly on the road and battery life was a huge concern, then you'd either go AMD Turion or Intel Centrino (which isn't a chip, but is a package of stuff that goes along with a Dothan chip)..
Of course, then you'd be picking between better performance, or greater battery life. But how much greater battery life, well this link from that entire report makes an interesting observation:
Note under real life conditions, the Turion outperforms the Intel Centrino. So, hmmm, it outperforms on most of the benchmarks, and has longer battery life.
Now, wait, wait..but they say they are closely matched. Although one seems to be slightly better the AMD of course.
Hmmm, the last thing I guess is, Intel as a company aren't playing fair. I may be really smoking something bad but ethically AMD is a slightly better choice. I don't like buying from companies that lie about their products.
