So... her heart shrunk one size that day?

Come on! Somebody had to say it.

That is some really wicked news. Although I'm kinda more amazed that they piggyback hearts. I'd never heard of that before.

And she says she feels a little empty inside smile but otherwise fine, saw it on the news last night... and, man, is her Welsh accent thick!


This raises the question that if a "diseased" heart is allowed to rest it could become healthy again. Wonder if doctors will keep this in mind.


Fantastic news. A House episode couple weeks ago was about a girl who's transplanted heart was possibly failing. They said such transplants only prolonged life a max of 10 years. Since this is the Welsh girl's own heart I hope she has a long life ahead of her... and what a conversation piece!
