There was that thing in Paris, where she became enraged that they wouldn't keep the store open just for her, on almost no notice. Which would tend to push her from being "comfortable about having money" towards "wealth egomaniac". I imagine she'll die with a huge amount of money in the bank and a lot of stuff she doesn't use. But heh, it's not a crime or anything.
Seriously guys, how much does she have to give before she is exonerated in the eyes of total strangers and allowed to enjoy the fruits of her labor. And before anyone goes off about her job is "easy", ask yourself why there are so few black female billionaires (are there actually any others?). Because it's fucking hard and she busted her ass to get where she is today.
You fucking go Oprah!
...'No, I don't. I do not know how me being destitute is going to help them."
Them?!
who exactly is them? and why do I feel like if I said that it'd misconstrued as racist/classist?
"Them" is probably the poor people in Africa, since they were just leaving Africa. If not them, I would just assume she meant poor people in general. Eitherway, there's nothing wrong with it.

I cheated on my girlfriend once. We all fuck up. How many other stories have you heard about her being an egomaniac?

Her detachment from the reality of the working class really pisses me off sometimes but that's why I don't watch her show anymore.
Yeah, this is so weird to me, considering how poor she grew up. That's never sat right with me.

Oh I do agree, it's not a deal closer. It could well be just that she'd become accustomed to such treatment being freely offered. Anyway, I'd put cheating on your partner as being worse than being a wealth egomaniac
