Metroid Fusion and Metroid: Zero Mission both have the original NES Metroid as part of the package. (or, if you're a complete idiot, you can buy it separately for slightly less money, as part of their NES classics lineup.). Zero Mission is a remake of it, and is the one to get if you don't have a Gamecube, since unlocking Fusion's original Metroid port requires you to hook it up to Metroid Prime on the Gamecube.
(Though they're both far better games than the original, which is positively painful to play in this day and age.)
