I hope someone can help me, i deleted The Sims original off my computer before i went overseas b-9 months ago and i just went to install it again because, ya know..its what nerds do, and its come up with the following:
16 bit Windows Subsystem
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choos close to terminate the application.
So...like, what the fudge does all that mean? Anyone out there got any suggestions? I'll give a cookie and a kiss to whoever can help! We'll be buddies for ever!

Did you check your TCP/IP settings?
Did you enable cookies?
You want this dawg?
That would have less than nothing to do with it. Sorry... pet peeve.
It wasn't really what you would call an "inside" joke, per se. More like a reference to family guy. Now whenever someone has a computer problem, regardless of what it is, I ask the above three questions.
It's a quote from Ollie and his Blaccuweather forecast. Awww yeah!

I have no advice, I'm computer dumb too. But I just stopped by to sympathize. I'd be lost without the Sims.
