It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come out, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone.- Bartlett Giamatti.
Initially, I was hoping you meant April 2nd, simply because it's the first day after April fools day. Baseball is about as much fun to watch as moss growing.
My Grandfather had the original family box seats when the Giants moved to SF, Seals Stadium at the time. When they moved to Candlestick he had 6 box seats 2 rows above the visitors dugout. He passed them to my Dad who passed them to me. Gave them up when I left the Bay Area after the '89 quake/World Series loss to the A's. Go Giants
If you think Baseball is boring it's because you don't understand the game. Their is a chess like meaning to every move of the fielders and the location of every pitch. I coached both fast and slow pitch softball for 10 years till it burned me out.

I work 4 blocks from Pac Bell (AT&T?) park (y'know, where the SF Giants play) and seeing that stadium all lit up for this first time this year kinda made me a little teary eyed last week... can't wait!
