then you'll like The Hills Have Eyes, if not for it's horror value (of which there is none) then for it's comedic value. (the stuff they put in there to be "scary" is absolutely hilarious) the whole time i was watching it, i thought i was watching a bad 70's horror flick. also check out Horror Hotel.

Just about everyone has seen Army of Darkness but alot haven't seen Evil Dead 1 & 2 thats some classic cult 70s horror.

High Tension was pritty good.

Even Horizon is a good Sci-fi horror flic.

I'm going to assume you've already seen the recent remake of Dawn of the Dead. If you haven't, you should.

Evil Deads 1 and 2 are great movies. See them.

Check out the horror group and we have a ton of random flicks listed in there.

But to list a few here...
Session 9: Probably one of the best and creepiest horror flicks I've seen in a long time.
Martin: One of Romero's classics that never received much hype
Jacob's Ladder
Monkey Shines
May
Silver Bullet
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (more recent version with Donald Sutherland)
Let's Scare Jessica To Death

I could keep going but that's a good start. Enjoy! kiss

You'd probably enjoy High Tension. It's in french with subtitles (don't watch the dub - it's shiite), but it's one of the best horror movies I have seen in a long time.

i looooove May. i don't know if it's really along the lines you're looking for, but it's one of my favorite movies.

you might like Wolf Creek. it's simple, relatively short and very disturbing at times. it's got a tremendous feel of helplessness to it.

The first time I watched this I was so disappointed by all the "plot holes" I thought I'd found, it took a second viewing to realise how great this movie really is.

May! God I love that movie.

If you've seen May, try White Zombie staring Bela Lagosi.

John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness

I have fucked up many people's sleeping habits having them watch it. Added bonus - Alice Cooper plays a really creepy homeless man.

Maybe that's because it WAS a bad 70's horror flick the first time around.

I really liked Ginger Snaps, but it’s not exactly in the vein your mentioned. The Descent is supposed to be great, it’s at the top of horror movies to watch list.
