I look at the boards and there are so few active topics. Like a ghost town in here these days.
What happened to all the avid posters? Did they all go black? What did I miss in my little 9 month absence?

Yeah, all I could think of was the never ending story--like only THIS guy can save the boards from being lame. It may very well be true wink

i've been here for about 6 of the 9 months you were gone. here's what i've noticed.

-nobody is happy with the boards. it's nowhere as good as it used to be. i have nothing to compare it to. but it's a common feeling around here. but really, nothing is ever good as it used to be. personally, i enjoy them.

-i'll get burned for this, but there is definitely a class system to the boards. it's obvious who the big posters are. don't cross them. it's pretty easy to pick up on this vibe, and it's probably stopped some good posts from being posted.

-there seems to be little interaction with the actual Suicide Girls. they're out there, and they post often. but last time i checked there were "over 1,000 suicide girls" and about 20 come to mind that post on the boards on a regular basis.

-who knows, maybe the golden age of the Suicide Girls has come and gone? i don't think so, no plans on leaving anytime soon.

-and when all else fails, blame myspace.

i'm curious, all you veterans clear something up for us noobs who are wondering around in the dark. what was so great about the boards back in the day? what exactly am i missing out on these days?

and here's a thought. do you think it has anything to do with the size of the community? i have nothing to base this on, but i figure there's more members now then there were in the glory days. was it just a tighter knit group of people then? as any group of people or whatever grows, so does its problems and flaws. is it easier then to overlook the good that is growing?

I do.

The photography is at an all-time high. Everything else is on the decline.

It's like Easter Island.
The boards are doomed.
