Juggling

The thread about fire artists got me to thinking... anyone juggle out there, or am I the only one? I know Al does... anyone else?

What do you juggle and how many of them?

I juggle balls and clubs, only in threes. My main deal is devil sticks, which i have a pssion for. I also swing Poi, which is evident from the fire thread, and mess around with contact balls (a'la Michael Moschen in Labrynth) Contact stuff is incredibly hard, but really cool.

I tend to call all of that stuff "motion toys" (or games or arts)

As of right now, I only juggle balls in threes, although I would like to learn clubs one day. And yes, contact juggling is quite hard.

for clubs and gear. All of their stuff is top quality.

I use the short handled euro clubs. It took me about 6 weeks to be able to repeat a simple cascade pattern, and i really haven't learned too many more club patterns. Its very very fun, but it will make the palms of your hands sting if you do it too much.

Do you thrown balls in a lot of patterns?

three ball is *the* art in juggling. A lot of higher multiples just seems like flash. hmmph.

i juggle technics 1200's....2 or 3 or 4...

I can juggle 3 clubs and I can almost juggle 5 balls. I can't do many tricks but I love passing. My boyfriend can juggle 7 balls and 5 clubs for short periods.

I just got back into juggling. I bought some weighted balls to get my muscles back in tune so I can start doing some crazy stuff. So far I've only got the simple patterns worked out, but I'm understanding the more advanced ones more and more every day. I'd like to get a routine down so I can entertain people in my dorm, or at the very least entertain myself.

P.S. Yay for a SG (Hel) being a juggler. That's damn cool. And sexy!

i can't juggle more than a few seconds. however, i can ride a unicycle forever :-)

I can jugle 3 balls do some tricks haven't done it in a while should do it more often, and props for being able to ride a unicycle, a guy I know had one and I tried to ride everyday for a week or two very hard, never really got it.

i can juggle 3 of any of the standard items, and can pass 6. been out of practice for a while, though, which sucks. couldn't lug all my equipment to London....

contact juggling! I love it. Oh, and I put in an app to start a fire/juggling/circus arts group.

I recommend this webpage for contact juggling information. It's got some really cool videos. I can't tell exactly, but I believe one of them is some guy I saw perform live outside of Chicago in a Haunted House freakshow. I ought to get me somma them contact jugglin' balls.

I'm a Yo-Yo master if that counts. I should learn to juggle. But I can also ride a little bike real funny. That idea for a group of circus arts sounds pretty good.

I also posted on the JUGGLING!! thread, but I am a contact juggler. I have been working on it for close to two months now and am finally showing progress. I am working up to two balls at a time, doing double butterflies and what not. These fire balls, would they work for CJ?

I can juggle. Only with 3 balls in 2 hands or 2 balls in one hand though. I can also juggle with random objects, not just juggling balls, but get funny looks from people when I'm doing it in public places.

I never understand why you get the funny looks. I also attempt to juggle random objects and get the weird looks. You also get it when stacking random things on top of each other. I once had everything at our table stacked in one huge pile at denny's. It was when they brought out the syrup that I was given the "please" stop look by my wife. I wonder why?
