This is my newest. It reminds me to look to nature and deep within myself to find the strength to carry me through life's greatest challenges.

In the words of Marcus Aurelius, "Dig deep; the water - goodness - is down there. And as long as you keep digging, it will keep bubbling up."

Well I'm camera inept and such, BUT...

I have a peice on the back of my neck with two Anarchy symbols inverted with a boder a friend of mine drew up a few years back, with the word "Nocturne" done in basic impact. It stands out, its all a nice medium red with black borders. All of the above takes up the back of my neck, and it's by far the most "significant" one I have. It's a political piece to be sure, but the word as some might know has a meaning of its own. Something significant from my high school years.

Second piece in order of age, a eastern american water spider in its natural habitat done on my right shoulder. Hardest for a lot to understand, people look at it and say shit like "why is that black widow underwater?". The significance is I've had a water spider "speaking" to me in many dreams and visions I've had for many years, and it was a way to pay homage to a "totem" of sorts.

I have a few others in the works, but I'm more along the lines of believing that tat's are somethign to be cherished, taken care of, and spaced out over a life well lived or a body well lived in as it where. I don't plan on having a LARGE number, that's just not me. It's got to have a long number of years of significance for me to put it on skin.
