I thought it was better than the comic book actually , they kept the good parts and changed the confusing parts which wouldnt have fit the movie.
Besides I dont think the majority of the moviegoers ever read the V comic or knows it exists.
I actually like it about the same as the comic. The comic was darker and had more depth to it of course, but I thought the Watchowski's did a great job on transfering a masterpiece of literature into a solid film. Hugo Weaving blew me away as V.
Now to all of you who loved it.........go out and get the Graphic Novel
I thought this was okay. But I preferred Lucky Number Slevin. Which I only mention because it's crept through it's cinema release hanging its head like it's ashamed to even exist and it is so much better than a lot of movies that have come out in a while.
I imagine LNS cost chump change in comparison to VFV and yet the former still reminds us clearly how mediocre the latter really is.
