They are just awesome. I know a few of them here in New Orleans...more before the damn Hurricane blew through and some of them left town.

I find them to be very interesting, knowledgeable, fun....all good things. And of course, the accent. God I love that accent.

So if your city is home to French people...women, men, whatever...I suggest you befriend them. It's totally worth it. The French may get a bad rap, but in my experience, it's not even close to reality.

(I may be going to Lyon pretty soon to visit one of them...she has some chalet in the alps...sounds like a good time)

i find saying "I love blank kind of people" to be almost as annoying and certainly just as myopic as saying "I hate blank kind of people." However, I'm glad you have such good friends, and I hope you enjoy your time in the Alps! smile

I tell my friends EVERYDAY...if you ever meet anyone named 'coi' you should really get to know that person because that person is probably a bundle of intelligence, kindess, and sex, rolled up in one person.

I think albanians are very musically gifted. Because I know this band, and they are from albania.

I saw an interview with a marine biologist not too long ago that regarded Mr. Cousteau as his idle and the man that inspired him to pursue the field. He ended up becoming a respected biologist and got an opportunity to meet Jaque. Upon trying to talk to him he found out he was an insufferable prick and Cousteau wouldn't even acknowledge his existance. That's sad, I think.

That is sad. Too bad...that must have been painful for the man.

(I think your comment really goes with the picture. He DOES look like an insufferable prick, here, doesn't he? biggrin )

Sad? That's the best story ever.
