You get the boy back by walking into the room when he's in the middle of a game, then flipping the power off on the machine and then dialing up some show. Bonus points for flipping to a station, then saying "oh shit, i guess it's not on for another hour" and then leaving the room.

In a perfect world this would rock and make me laugh very hard, but the way my boy games you just don't mess with that unless you want to die. Do you want me to die? frown

The pimp hand must be strong. Lay down the law now, or lay down and be the doormat.

Kick him to the curb!

It's a little late to kick him to the curb. See, if it were Trent and he just got done playing a show and he went and got on the XBox that would be cool with me, because hey it's Trent. But my boy isn't Trent. So....

Yea, I don't know what his deal is.

I'm also going to answer the question. It's hard to say, because I love so much. But what I think I love the most, is calling someone, telling them when I'm free, and saying "Give me a call back if you want to do something." Then a year later, they call me and say, "Where have you been? I've tried calling you a couple times, you never answer me."

... what the fuck is wrong with you? You got the wrong number or something? It's on your cell phone, I know it is. Get over it and stop blaming shit on someone else because you apparently don't want to talk to them. mad

One of the most frustrating things in a relationship is when your partner (pardon the pc) seems at ease with being inconsiderate, like you're to expect it and just deal with it. That's crap, but pretty common.

Yep, I am usually a pretty big push over when it comes to him and what he thinks is okay. I am a doormat when it comes to this kind of stuff. I also have no spine. *sigh*

If that really is the way he is, then it's not really so much of a relationship as you're the girl he fucks when he doesn't have something better to do. The whole respecting each other thing should really work both ways for both people involved. Let him know that next time he pulls that junk, you'll respond in kind and stuff...

That's not the answer to everything. Stop being an asshole for two seconds.

Talk to him during a time when neither the TV nor XBox are on and tell him honestly and clearly that it bothers you. Compromise is key.

If he doesn't listen then yeah, the asshole might be right. blackeyed

Yeah, but you take for granted that this kind of directness is not always common, or easy for that matter, in relationships.

To construct a whickity stick

1. Take a three foot length of PVC pipe, a two foot six inch long piece of foam pipe insulation, and some duct tape.

2. Put the foam on the pipe. Duct tape it firmly in place, then run duct tape up and down the length of the pipe until the whole thing is covered. Put about ten layers of tape over the top of the pipe so you don't accidentally stab anyone with it.

3. Hit people with your new whickity stick. Teach them to respect your right to rule using violence.
