Bill Hicks is considered by many inside and out of the comedy world as one of the greatest standup comedians who ever lived. Hicks started performing standup at the age of 19 and was immediately recognized as a dangerous comedian who attacked such sacred cows as the American dream, hypocritical beliefs and traditional attitudes to the point where two Vietnam veterans broke his leg after a show. Sadly just when Hicks was hitting his stride he died at age 32 of pancreatic cancer.

Bill Hicks was really the best comedian ever. I have almost all of his cds. Nobody had his style or dedication to what he really believed in. He said what he meant and I'm sure lots of people didn't like what he had to say. Somebody else on here said that we need him now more than ever and I agree.

Have truer words ever been spoken? Not ever, I say.

I wish I believed in god, so I could think that Bill was still looking down at us to this day. I miss his presence so much.

"A young kid on acid today realized that all matter is energy reduced to a slow vibration and that mankind is just a single consciousness experiencing itself repeatedly, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves.

Here's Tom with the weather."

Thank you, Jeff Rougvie for allowing so much of the world to experience the magic of Bill Hicks, and thank you SG and DRE, so very much, for focusing today on Bill and Jeff.

Bill will *always* be a part of my life.

Bill: You are my fucking hero. We could all use more of the unflinching courage you had. You are truly missed.

Jeff Rougvie: Thank you for making this material available. Your work is absolutely vital, now as much as ever.

Arizona Bay is questionable. Bill Hicks is great. Do more drugs, or don't.

I remember my dad always used to play a comedy CD of his and I've thought his stuff was great ever since. But he was a huge potty mouth, haha.

Wish he were still around to do more comedy.
