Now that the Olympics are winding down...any final thoughts?
The only thing that assuaged me from Shani Davis and C. Hendricks not winning goal in the 1500m were the rippling thigh muscles of Enrico Fabris (Italy).
I've greatly enjoyed them, even if neither the US nor Canada men's hockey teams will advance to the medal round. It'll still be a great end to the tournament. Both of the semifinal games are going to be great to watch.
Hell, the two and a half games today I watched today were all really close right up to the last minute.
I've watched way more curling than I care to admit. Hell, I'm watching it right now. It's oddly fascinating.
I just like the whole thing that there is always something going on, and it's something that these people have sometimes worked their whole lives toward accomplishing ... and, of course, just the inherent drama that is sports.
Love it. I've said it before. I have Olympic Fever.

Bermuda? At the Winter Olympics? Were they trained by John Candy?
Lascelles Brown--a former Jamaican bobsledder--won a silver as Canada 1's brakeman.
I'd say the medal's half Jamaica's.
The cases of Bode Miller (hype) and Lindsey Jacobellis instilled the most schadenfreude in my heart--NBC's colour commentator in the latter case: "A showboat trick! She lost it on a showboat trick!"
And CBC aired Don Cherry muttering the word "fuck" tonight,
