In my humble and uninvited opinion he is better than Conan. There I'm sure that will set a few of you off!

I'm a Craig fan. I like Conan, but he never does anything new.

he's certainly king of the 12:30 timeslot. at least, until the olympics are over and conan comes back.

Conan's losing touch with the kids, I think. With me, anyway. You can only do the monkey-robot dance so many times. I really like Craig Ferguson. I think he's a riot.

Craig is funny, but Conan is king. I'm a Dave then Conan guy.

Jay Leno ... I seriously don't know how he's still on the air.

Ferguson, I think, is an original. He's funny as hell, has impeccable rhythm and timing, and has the charm, intelligence, and compassion to back up his humor. If he keeps it up, he'll easily be on the level of Parr, Carson, and Letterman.

Conan seems to have taken Lettermans' "Can you believe they gave an idiot like me a show? We don't know what we're doing, but here it goes anyway" schtick and smeared it with the attention-whoring antics of a tiresome class clown. I used to kind of like him, but it's wearing thin.

I think his work on "The Simpsons" produced some brilliant episodes. Maybe he can refresh it all, somehow, before it crashes.

I am impressed with how good the Craig Furgeson show is becoming. In the first few weeks he was rattling off pop culture one liners and it was atrocious - he just looked uncomfortable - but now he tells stories... and his guests behave like they are at dinner with him... it is a wonderful show. Conan is just shtick, it is good - but this is new.

Really? I saw some shows the first couple of months, and it seemed like a pile of dog shit, but less funny.

I'm a big fan of Ferguson's show. From start to finish, I think he takes a pretty standard program format and does a great job of putting his own thumbprint on it.

As for Conan, I like him as well. I prefer Craig's program, but don't have anything negative to say about O'Brien.

It seems like his carrier path is following Lettermans almost to a T.

Well, except the giving the finger to NBC part.

And I think Conan might be running the next few years on autopilot doing the same old same old zany antics until he has to completely retool the show to take over for Leno at 11:30 and compete with Dave.

I seriously don't know how he got on the air. The biggest slap in the face ever in show business was not giving Dave that gig.

Thanks to Jimmy Fallon. I noticed how much better Ferguson is.

He kind of reminds me of Conan. And he doesn't constantly endorse products in sketches. All that Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is a one big advertisement.

Location. Maybe? Is Craig in NYC? I really don't know. Anyway, I'm a Letterman loyalist to the core, but Craig is by far the best of the post Johnny Carson time slot hosts currently on the air. Mostly because his humor is absurdist and adult. He can be more funny with an innuendo and a wink than an entire team of writers on most shows.
