I remember when having Windows on a PC was optional.

It still is. Linux, baby... it'll rule the world someday. (Well, probably not, but it's still my OS of choice.)

Okay... how's that for thread-jacking?

I remember having to use a tape cassette drive to load a game of Zaxxon, and sitting there for an hour while it loaded.

And I remember owning an Atari 400 computer.

And I remember when Commodore 64s cost a small fortune.

And I remember Hunting the Wumpus using only a Trash-80.

...Fuck. I think I actually AM old.

Something about age brings out the competitive edge in people. Its right up there with "how little sleep I got last night".

Anyway, C&C is ten! Wooo!

I remember having a commodore 64, playing intellivision and Atari. I still say Intellivision had better games than Atari.

I remember thinking when Pong came out, "Why would anyone give up pinball for this?"

I remained a pinball purist until Death Race came out.

Better games, but awkward controllers. I currently own 3 of them, with some games still shrink wrapped and a Voice Module.

Anyone else remember when Sears used to sell rebranded Ataris as "Tele-Games"?
