It's fucking disgusting. Why do people drink this shit? Furthermore, why do people go to such great lengths to get their hands on cases and cases of it? You know, even after drinking it once and realizing it tastes like a puddle from a junkyard or a scrapheap or a landfill -- no, all three! With carbonation!

God, it's awful.

They drink it because they can't afford anything else. But I agree it is terrible terrible stuff. It is also the brand of soda I used to buy in college and dump out and put either beer or liquor in too sneak it into football games.

My parents inform me that when it came out in the 60's, people drank it because it was the only diet soda by Coca-Cola. I guess some still prefer it to Diet Coke, that's really the only reason. Me and a friend of mine tried one on a trip to NYC because it was actually the first time we had seen it. We both promptly spat it out into the sink, at the exact same time. I kid you not.

If I remember correctly, it was pulled off the market, or went way underground, circa 1980 because it contained sacchrine. Liquid cancer indeed! If hipsters have adopted it, good! More for me!
