Why is there a seperate term for when white people are enslaved? Does it really matter what ethnicity a person is if they're enslaved? If you must add something to better describe exactly who is being enslaved, wouldn't it make more sense to use an adjective describing age, gender, or country of origin/citizenship? Are there even really slavery rings that deal exclusively in white people?

$10 if you guess the quote from that episode of Out of this World that I'm thinking about right now.

"White slavery" is more euphemistic. It has less to do with the concept of slavery as we think of it (forced labor) and more to do with forced prostitution (assuming I know what context you're speaking from). Also, it's mostly unfounded panic urban legend stuff.

"White slavery" is akin to "child-sacrificing Satanic devil worshipping". Lots of moral panic, little actual substance.
