I would charge a minimum of $10. Especially for a kid that young.

I'm applying to SIT. My first choice is Morocco: Intensive Arabic and Moroccan Culture; my second choice is The Islamic Diaspora in Europe.

Whether at my work, or just babysitting, I'd change diapers every hour. Not if they are sleeping of course, but its probably just a good habit to get into when you are watching someone elses kid. If some parents walk in and the kid has just happened to pee at that exact moment, they will still think you were negelecting to change its diaper. Also, I don't know where all you guys are from, but charging $10 an hour seems really expensive and the couple of comments about $25-50 and hour is absolutly crazy. Then again, I am just from a small town in the south. Since it sounds like you don't have much experience with babysitting children that age, I wouldn't charge $10, but like I said, where ever you guys are from it sounds like its totally the norm. Just talk to the mom.
