That's a very, very good point. I already respected the guy, but now I respect him just a little bit more.

Totally. Go Dave!

Scott Stapp says Dave has a small cock. I think Scott is just jealous that Dave has talent.

Scott Stapp's claim to fame was trying to sound like Eddie Vedder and starting the pandemic. Now he's just the guy who got booted from Creed for being a cunt.

BWAHAHAHA quote from that article:

On Thanksgiving Day, after announcing his engagement to his fiancee's family, he got into a fistfight with members of the band 311 at a hotel bar in Baltimore. According to 311's frontman SA Martinez, Stapp was doing shots, being "loud and obnoxious" and made "a disrespectful comment to my wife that I'd rather not repeat." When drummer Chad Sexton asked Stapp to settle down, the members of 311 claim Stapp sucker-punched him and, in the follow-through, struck Martinez's wife. (Stapp denies starting the fight.)

Jesus Christ, what I wouldn't do to see two of the dumbest rock stars of the mid-to-late 1990s beat the everliving crap out of each other. They should make that a Pay-Per-View special. tongue

My own opinions on his music aside. I'm pretty sure he's just doing what he enjoys. He's also doing very well out of it. I can respect that.

Him and Pap Smear are nothing without Kurt

Well I wouldn't say Dave is nothing, but he's definately overrated.

Overrated? Overhyped? I really don't see how. For a guy who's been in two extremely high-profile bands...his image isn't exactly plastered everywhere.

Obviously, any super-fan is going to look at him as a God...but aside from that...who is objectively looking at him and giving him more credit than he deserves? He is an A-list musician, he's a good frontman and I think he deserves recognition as one of the top acts in rock.

As far as overhyped? What does that mean, exactly?

Nirvana was good, though that wasn't really because of Dave. The Foo Fighters are ok, they've had a few catchy songs, but overall I find them a bit boring. And I wasn't all that impressed with Probot.
