I got a 30GB Ipod for Christmas, along with a cool case. The only prob.... the case has 3 small magnets. robot BEWARE....skull Magnets and the harddrive on the ipod are not the best mix. I returned 2, luckly Circuit City has a pretty good return policy.
Thought I might pass that on.

Did you actually have any problems caused by the magnets, or did you just think there would be and you didn't want to risk it?

I exchanged two gen5 ipods. The thing locked up. I went to Apple's site and did all the BS. to no avail. I'm using a different case, and no troubles

Once, I waved a magnet over my old computer screen. The colors got all screwy, so I waved the magnet over it again to undo the problem. It didn't work.
