I love that someone is finally calling this guy on his shit. He really strikes me as a suburban white kid who appropriated gangsta' shite and regurgitated it back to middle class white folk in a form that they could understand and spend their $ on. Would Oprah have liked this book so much if say, Fiddy-cent wrote it? She'd be all over his coke-whore exploiting ass.

talk about a spoiler...i knew nothing of this book i just got it a few days ago from my friend. i only have about 35 or so more pages to go...i feel so cheated i don't think i can finish it now. ARRR!!!

Nobody (to my knowledge) is saying that non-fiction is "worthier," just that it shouldn't be fiction.

I think people are just saying he shouldn't have told the world it's true, if it isn't; the lack-of-worth allegations are aimed more at the author's claims for his book than at the book itself.
