Breathing ground up body parts can't be good, either. Whatever was in those towers got turned to powder & vapour - mercury, asbestos, styrene, acetone, bones, blood cells, etc.

shocked Huh?

I think he's refer to one of those conspiracy theories.
He's comparing the US government to the nazis. whatever

There is a lot of nutter butters out there.

if you listen to the firefighters who saw dust consitient with demolitions but no fire, if you listen to the fire chief who saw two small fires, if you watch the video and see the puffs which look exactly like demolitions charges, and if you consider that building 7 was "pulled down" by demolitions then it isn't so "nutter butter."

Remember the Gulf of Tonkin and Iran Contra? It isn't the entire goverment but a certain nasty element. I'll send you a video.

Could we PLEASE refrain from turning this into a conspiracy thread? We have enough of those. Hell, go start another one. This thread is about a man who died after assisting with rescue and clean-up, a man who left behind a four-year old daughter.

Jesus Christmas... have some respect.

I'm going to try to say this nicely as opposed to putting what I wanted to say.

This is a thread about how a a worker from 9/11 died due to after affects while working at ground zero. My guess is that the original poster wanted to bring to people's attention that the devestation that occurred there has continual after effects on people living in the states.

If you want to talk about some type of conspiracy thing start your own thread rather than using other people's as your own personal soap box. That's why you can start a new topic at any time - you don't need to threadjack someone else's.

In most steel structures built any amount of time ago any kind of fire proofing they may have used was also made of asbestos so that's another thing they'd have to look at. I don't know if they had this in the WTC but I know used to use it up until about 20 years ago for fireproofing things. My husband is an ironworker and when they put up a building, they have these guys come and spray "monocoat" on the beams to fireproof them. And they're made out of a "legal" type of asbestos. It's just not ever going to end. Thank God for those heroes that still continue to fall to this day from 9/11 frown

This is terrible, but I believe there is much more to come.

And that's why the Senate is still pushing that Asbestos Trust Fund fraud of a bill. Even without the NYC 9-11 realated cases coming up in the next 15 years, there are literally thousands dying each year from the past 50 years of exposure (search Mesothelioma for more info). The rate of asbestos deaths in the US has not even reached its peak (again, not counting the 9-11 cases that the EPA covered up evidence about in the months following the tragedy). This fund the Senate is pushing for will screw most victims and bail out the govt. and their corporate sponsors (I actually read the 345 page draft bill from last fall). Sad indeed. And to think NY was forced to give back millions of 9-11 money they didn't spend fast enough as people are getting sick too slowly. Now that's sick...

that's really bad news about your husband. he may have been exposed. my father died two years back of asbestos related disease. he was a model of health and only 65. it's a terrible thing and i've learned more about it than i ever cared to know. and by the way, asbestos is STILL LEGAL and the present language of the trust fund bill does not agree on an outright ban. amazing...the 9-11 catastrophe has yet to rear all its ugly heads.
