if you are feeling uncomfortable and need a break don/t be afraid to ask for one.make sure when your artist puts the stencil on you, that you are happy with the position/angle..etc...because once they/ve started tattooing, there/s not too much you can do.if you/re not happy with the position politely tell your artist before they commence.be specific what you don/t like about the positioning and tell them where you would prefer it..'eg-can you move it around an inch to the left'...ask them to move it 287412794812789 times because you/re indecisive and you deserve a punch to the head.bring a bottle of water with you.sometimes people get hot flushes from the 'pain' or feeling..the water helps.

Make sure to turn your cell phone on silent, dont want to spoke your artist if it goes off. Also if you need to make or answer a call it is nice to ask the artist if he minds.
