Huh? I'm confused as to what you're trying to say here.

I think it's genetics. I mean unitl recently I smoked like a chimney, and I still drink like a fish, and don't really pay too much attention to what I eat, and I'm skinny and toned. (Also did I mention my large penis?)

Some people are on diets all the fucking time and have a big fatness.

I say its a combination, but with a more than significant genetic contribution. Every male in my family has lived past 90, and kept most of all of their teeth, for some genereations (excepting WW2) yet very few actually watch what they eat.

My father never went to the dentist, and he never had a cavity, and had beautiful white straight teeth. I do go to the dentist and I can say the same thing about myself. So I'm going to go with genetics.

Never mind me, I was up late and failed to read the question properly before:

I think it's mostly genetics, but I think behaviour plays a small part in physical appearance too. I probably eat near enough my own body-weight most days, but I've never changed in size, although I've looked a little 'softer' ever since being pregnant with my daughter. I'm still the same weight though. Some other people I know excercise regularly, really watch what they eat and although they're not fat by any means, they are substantially are bigger than me; I suppose that is their genetically pre-determined state.

if you brush too much you can wear away the enamel which protects your teeth naturally.

They just developed some sort of epoxy resin replacement enamel for when this happens. It is clear and supposed to last 10 years, but I think it is still in clinical trials right now.

My theory is that the key to avoiding tooth decay is not letting food sit on your teeth, and very little to do with brushing. As a child I went years without brushing shocked (yes, I know better now), but I've always had a habit of tonguing them free of food after eating anything. As an adult dentists have, more than once, called their assistant over to look at my uncommonly good molars biggrin
