I like it. It's not Daily Show good, but it's good.

It has gotten light years better since that first week of shows. Those were painfully bad at times.

Whoa easy there Sally! Try extricating your nose from Colbert's sphincter. I'll just mark you down as greatest.

i know of a writer who gets $3,000 a week to write for the show. I am pretty confident a bunch of people on these boards could write a funnier show for that money.

Gimme ten dollars and I'll make fun of someone's mother.

God, I didn't think so. The only thing that bothered me in the first week was when he stumbled a bit over his lines and didn't know which camera he was talking to. That happens every time a person starts hosting, though, and it's been ironed out.

Actually, I think the show's turned out really great, and I was a bit skeptical when I went into it. Though I suspect that's at least partially because I think all the reporters left on The Daily Show kind of suck, which has decreased my enjoyment of the show. I still love Jon, but the rest of them just act like idiots and don't so much parody reporters. Colbert was the last one I thought was consistently funny.

Way to quote me before I finished editing, you jerk!

Anyway, toothpickmoe is going to kill me for this, but I think Rob almost always sucks.

(Look! Another edit!)

I like the rapore alot because he mentions Canada sometimes too. It's kinda neat to have a parody of my own country's current events thrown in with the Bush-Bashing.

(plus I like the "you're dead to me" board, and all the other prop-oriented bits)

That show is great. The best was when that jackass O'Reilly was on The Daily Show on the 2nd or 3rd night of the Report and said to Jon "I'm told you have some Frenchy making fun of me on after you." It's so spot-on, showing the #1 problem with today's "news": the newscasters trying to be the focal point instead of the disseminators of information.

That said, I usually can't watch more than once a week so I couldn't tell you if the schtick is getting old yet or not...

Is it just me or did he totally switch the way he was interviewing after the first couple weeks? It seemed like he stayed in character a lot more during the start and now he just goes in and out, treating the guests a lot nicer.

He might be concerned that some of them don't get the joke and doesn't want them to think they were invited just so he could be a dick.

It's mildly amusing, but not NEARLY as hilarious as watching Bill O'Retard for real. Jesus, that guy needs a thousand CC's of horse tranquilizer like whoa.

Did you know that there's a WAR ON CHRISTMAS??!!! That's right, you only think there are Christmas decorations and songs everywhere. And if they say "happy holidays" instead of "merry Christmas," you should get violent.

Fully.

I almost pee myself everytime i watch O'Riley. There's really no need for fake news that is self aware when we have people delivering fake news by accident.

That said - the Repor is the greatest
