NoPantsDave showed me the site in January 2002. I didn't join until I got my financial aid refund in January 2003.

I've missed a couple of weeks here and there, due to financial weirdness or some such thing.

Not really, but I did enjoy the pictures of Echo that he showed me. They were from her "Candy Girl" set. I thought SG had a lot of fun, different photos, and I was sick of mainstream porn.

I've gone through a zillion names. My first was my real name + 81. Next was a mix of a username and my real name + 81. After that, to honor the huge crush I had on Flux when I first joined, FlushCrux. After I got sick of being called "Flush" for short, I changed to CruxbaseAlpha, a play on Saint Etienne's debut album Foxbase Alpha. After that I guess CruxPlusOne, after Annie's song Me Plus One. Then one day I was really depressed about something stupid so I changed to CruxIsPathetic briefly. Then interestingly something happened that was exactly what I needed right then at that moment and I changed to CruxPlusAMillion because I felt like a million bucks. Then I got sick of that and changed to rollerdisco, because one day that word popped into my head and I was in love with the concept. Phew!
