Piercing Help Please!!!

Well ive had my lip ring for over a year and a half now...and its still not healed. Over the weekend it seemed to be really irritated and was bleeding. It seems to have skin stuck in the hole or something (fucking gross)...im thinkin after this long, it just was not pierced right, I dont know what to do. I dont want to take it out, but the fucker just wont heal. I dont know whether to try longer to clear it up or just take it out...let it heal and then try and get my lip pierced again!!!

Yup...if I try to take it out for like 10 min...it still attemps to close!!!

take it out and try again . there is obviously something wrong with the area , or the ring , or something . . . those should heal in a few months max . your body is trying to get rid of it , so do it a favor and help out .

An allergy to the metal?...any other piercings? have trouble with any of them?

Um, go see a piecer...NOW. Let them evaluate it to see if it can be saved or not and how to heal it either way.

I had the same problem with one of my lip piercings. It just never took.
Like Mike said, take it out, try again if you like.

I have metal plugs in my ears and they are healing just fine.

my ex is allergic to piercings, well except the ones in my body! ha!

What jewelry do you have in your lip? Do you have a picture of your lip? If the jewelry is pulling or too snug on your lip you can irritate the hell out of the thing and have serious trouble healing.

See your piercer.

If you decide to do it again I reccommend getting pierced with a labret stud and switching to a ring later on.
