It was a semi-date, with a guy I went to high school with. We went out a few months ago (he lives out of town) and kissed.

Either way, it was fucking rude.

I just hate that people think that they can, for lack of a better phrase, get away with it! I believe in Karma, but sometimes swift justice is more appealing...like getting hit by a car!! wink

I don't either...hence the winky face, but I've been putting up with shit like this for 3 straight months from 2 girls at work, and damn if it just doesn't get tiresome. I only need to get thru tomorrow, but after that long, I just want to blow my top.

Won't you feel bad if the only reason he stood her up is because he did get hit by a car?

If you should ever run into him again, and he awkawardly tries to apologize for his rudeness, pretend that you didn't know you had a date planned. Come up with some story about how some gorgeous individual called you around 6 and you ended up hanging out with them all night. It helps if you can blush a little at that point. Just make it convincing.

Being stood up is awful (oh, I've been stood up far too many times) but being so forgettable that it doens't matter whether or not you stand someone up? It puts you in your fucking place.

It's not right to stand a lady up, no matter what. Guys as well.

A telephone call isn't too hard to use, people.

Your date might've been a member here and seen that "slapping" thread of yours and got nervous.
