I can't say for sure on portraits but Joey at seven deuce in Federal Way is an outstanding artist. I have some pics in my folders of some of his work. His work is the mask of the geisha demon on the back of my arm.

If you are in the Seattle area, go for Art Core Studios. They are amazing. It's not your traditional Tattoo place. When you walk in there are oil paints that the artists have created. No flash, everything is custom work. They don't do 'same day' tattoos. You go in, tell them what you want, they will tell you which artist does the type of work you want best, you talk to that artist, give they $25 to draw it up and make an appointment. Check out the site Art Core Studios

Here a picture of the dragon Bishop did for me...

One of my co-workers just moved down from up there, I'll ask her since she has some work done as well as her husband that looks pretty good. It's been too many years since I lived up there to be able to recomend anyone, hell just in the amount of time I was in Japan and moved back the guy I had doing my back piece moved and I can't track him down to finish it frown

Actually the guys at Art Core were at one time with Slave to the Needle. They had some pretty good reasons for leaving.

Everything I've heard and seen tells me that you want to talk to Benjamin Moss.
