Three furry, four legged things...oh wait, those are my cats, and they own the bed, they just let us sleep in it.
They are Ash, Shane and Pele. One named for well you know, "gimmee some sugar baby" One named for the lead singer of the Pogues and the last after the Hawaiian Goddess of trouble and fire. tee hee

bowl and bowls of ice cream.

On the nightstand by my side: The ferrets' cage.
On the nightstand by my wife's: the alarm clock, her "to-do" notebook, lotion, two earplugs, toenail clippers, and a big knife.

usually whatever I'm reading oh... and a vibrator.

Book, cell phone, 2 bottles of water (I get thirsty, I'll drink them both tonight), hotel fluff.

garbage bags, a shovel, a mop, cleaning chemicals, duct tape

A little brass bell. It makes this beautiful little tinkling noise, and was given to me by a friend I cherish...really quite cute.

A book, a glass of water, vibrator, and body jewelry. Mine falls out when I sleep, so I keep extras for the middle of the night when I realize it's not there, and I don't want to go looking for it.

giant teacup (when my brother hasn't used it for ice cream) full of chamomile at night, big stack of books that i've read before or need to finish, my DS and one or two games, a newspaper crossword, and dolls next to my bed, on my bed, on my windowsill next to my bed....

Me too! And a microwave (it's actually my 'nightstand').
But yea... I have something like a dozen pairs of shoes right there.

My MP3 player, my phone, a book or comics and some unspecified sex aids under the bed. I love my bed, best place in the world

water

Three furry creatures (the fourth has not yet ventured onto the bed...the others won't let her...she's new), meanin kittycats of course. Wait...I guess they are on my bed...whatever. Water/drink of some sort. Stuffed animals that are special to me. My boys chucks are usually lurking nearby. My chucks, as well. Foot massage roller. Exercise thingamajig that I don't know what to call it. Pilates "magic circle". Books. Some other shoes on a rack (vintage pumps, etc...not that many). Usually the pants that my boy wore to work (if they aren't dickies, he takes them off when he gets home). Pointe shoes that I need to sew still in their box. Some magazines (tapeop, venus, inspired house, are all regulars at the bedside).

Right now. 4 books, 3 magazines, a notebook and a pen, a water bottle, alarm clock, lube, my girlfriends vibrator, and a strap-on
