And you know, the other funny thing about the ham soda is that somehow this year, my grandmother mysteriously figured out how to cook a ham without scorching it to a light corrugated cardboard texture. We even ended up taking home leftovers from Christmas dinner. It's like no one wants to flagrantly offend my delicate sensibilities this year.

Ugh! I so wish I could've been there to join in on the festivities, I was even in San Diego around Thanksgiving which would've been appropriate, but I'm glad to see this year's entry finally upon us!
