I don't mind our gas bill. It's seperate from the energy bill so it's usually cheap.
Oh look....here comes winter. frown

Shit, you are getting ripped off. Who are you using? Uncle Tony's Insurance company? My insurace at its worst, with two accidents on it was less than half that. Unless you are driving the most expensive to insure car out there, you should try a different company. Progressive is pretty good. I only pay I think $110 per month. But then I pay all year, not just for six months. But even if you only get billed six months a year that's still more than I ever paid through any company.

Jesus Christ, dude. Shop around. Have you had 8 DUIs or something? I pay $77 a month, and I'm a male under 25. you can't be paying $500 more a month just because you live in NY. If so, fucking move.

My boyfriends bro lives in NY, he's 24 and only pays like $200 something a month a think.

Car insurance. I've never had a wreck in my entire life, and I can only afford liability insurance anyway, so my insurance would only cover the other person's car. So I can't help feeling I'm paying a good $1,000 a year for nothing except a piece of paper to show to a cop if I get pulled over, which I never have.

I don't know about oklahoma, but in NY if your insurace lapses you get this awesome letter in the mail from the DMV telling you how you owe them a few hundred dollars and if you don't pay them and give them proof of insurance rather quickly, you lose your license. I love how all the stuff you legally need to drive is so expensive. It now costs $50 just for the new title when you register a car in NY. such bullshit.

Oklahoma is the same, it just depends on whether your insurance company actually reports that your coverage has lapsed to the state.
