Yeah, risc is good.

I suspect that when I start learning how to hack it will be a great disappointment b/c of this movie. Unless there's a hot chick in my class who wants to go swimming with me with all her clothes on.

I just watched it again, and as I know pretty much nothing about computers, I've decided every detail of it is accurate.

I thought RAID stood for Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks.

And between RISC and RAID, I think RISC is the one lined up to change things.

I love the nip-slip in this. For those of you who don't know, it's where Angelina jumps on Dade in bed whilst opening her shirt. Though she's done some better tit shots in other movies so it's a moot point.

Still...I love the hacking interface.

The best bit of Jurassic Park is when that ugly girl hacks into the jurassic park mainframe to lock all the doors, and the hacking screen is an excellent 3D interface ala Hackers.

That's exactly what my monitor looks like!

This movie was truly prophetic.

I used to hack all the time. In fact I stole the "setting the fire alarms so the showers go off at school at 10 am thing from Hackers.

And also my "handle" at the time was ZeroCool.

So, yes, I fucking LOVE Hackers.

Did anyone ever see Psycho Beach Party? They make a reference to my favorite line in Hackers in that movie:

"You know, if I didn't live by a strict code of ethics, I'd take advantage of this situation...erotically, as it were"
