This truly one of my most disliked tv's show. But today i discovered that Patricia Heaton the women who plays his wife is a honorary chair/spokes person for Feminist for Life an antiabortion organization.

Why is it so expectable in our society for a celebrity to be Pro-life but not Pro-choice?

What would happen to someones career if the came out as a Pro-Choice spokesperson

Edited for spelling

Also may I add that Feminst for Life is also the same organization that Chief Justice John Roberts wife volunteers for.

That's a weird role for a feminist to play (nagging, whiny stay at home mom who's constantly being criticized for being unable to cook).

I think coming out as Pro-Choice would only affect people who have a religious fanbase. I mean do you think anyone would care if Marilyn Manson become the head of a Pro-Choice organization?

I was never a big fan of the show...but Patricia Heaton pretty much went under my radar for quite a while. I didn't learn how much of a shrill little harpie she was until she started grandstanding during the Terry Schaivo case in Florida.

Sweet fucking Jeebus Debra is sooo friggin' hot, even more so when you realize she is kinda old (47).

I'm serious.

See...

It is kind of weird though when she spouts off on political stuff, like one time I saw her talking about her views on that Shiavo tube thing. Tell me, am I seriously supposed to give a fuck what you have to say about this stuff because you are on a hit tv show?

Where am I supposed to get my opinions, if not from celebrities?
