If you're sitting alone this Halloween evening, lend a hand to the paranormal researchers out there and keep an eye on one of the many webcams out there dedicated to ghost-spotting.

Check out the long-running "research cams" placed in a definitely-spooky abandoned hospital in Oklahoma.

The Willard Library in Evansville, Indiana, is said to be haunted by the "lady in grey," a ghostly figure that has been sighted for over 60 years. The Willard Library cams are located in the Research Room, the Children's Room, and of course, in every ghost's favorite hideout, the basement.

See if you can spot the Lexington Ghost, the figure of a man who is said to be "polite, knowledgeable and kind. Smartly dressed in a summer white Navy uniform, he's good looking, too, with light hair, a clear complexion and piercing blue eyes."

My personal favorite ghost cam is placed deep within the catacombs of Paris. Surely you'll see a spirit there tonight!

And of course, in Long Beach, California, the hulking Queen Mary oceanliner sits in port. The Queen Mary is said to be one of the most haunted places in America. Watch for the ghosts of dead sailors, or just of guests who had so much fun on cruises that they return again and again, even after death.

Ghoststudy.com has a list of other popular ghost cams.

Happy haunt hunting!

Thanks! When I lived in NJ I visited many of the sites alleged to be haunted. Although somewhat of a skeptic in many things, there was definitely weird energy in many and I had a spectral vision in a house I won't go into right now that exactly matched the vision of the owner's child (whose story I had not heard).

What an appropriate end to my Hallowe'en.

Thanks again.

I'm far too much of a scaredy-cat to do that. If I saw anything, I'd have nightmares for months... blush

Wow, well I think I may have actually seen something in one of the frames last night. I really don't know how to describe it other than as looking like "death". It moved from one side of the room to the other, a little bit closer to the camera then eventually disapeared. I'm not the only one who noticed it and quite frankly I was a little freaked out. Anyway, I was able to make a capture, so here it is everyone!

Maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me whatever
